This scarf is a story about Poland shrouded in smog. It took one month to create intricate graphics by hand. Place by place, building by building, city after city. We are discovering that Poland is a beautiful country day after day. When visiting places that are important to us, we return to the moments that built us. Our country is not only a turbulent past. It is also our present, but also future for us and our descendants. Still we don’t put much attention to the environment and ecology. This unusual map of Poland is to illustrate not only the beautiful
corners of our country, but also the scale of the problem of air pollution and smog. Apart from many well-known places, on the scarf we hid wolves, storks, seals and a bison. They are a small part of the whole. Whether they will appear on a similar map in 100 or 200 years - depends on us.
