Double-sided silk scarf “Spring”

From spring to winter. From youth to old age. From the beginning to the end. In the circle of life, energy circulates constantly. It rises and weakens. It speeds up and slows down. It wakes up and falls asleep. Spring (pol. “Wiosenka”) was formerly an old-Polish name for a  full calendar year. A measure of the passage of time, the length of life. This scarf reminds you that everything that ever had a beginning will also have an end, that everything will finally pass. That what we are waiting for will certainly come, but when it comes, we must remember that it will also have its end. A trained eye will also spot the beautiful natural process of silk thread formation, which has been going on for thousands of years.
